I do not know of any support for the question that SDA ministers will be imprisoned and persecuted first and our laity will have to stand alone. There are statements in the Ellen G. White writings concerning the part which our laymen will act in assisting in the finishing of the work, but I do not understand it to be a work which they will do alone. It is an auxiliary work, and all unite in heralding the message. (Arthur L. White)
