You raise the question is it possible that this is a misprint for the word "God"? It is not a misprint. I think that Sister White is saying to Brother Q here that if he faithfully discharges the trust committed to him, that he will prove himself by his actions to be "the right man in the right place." I think she is using the expression "make good" as we occasionally use it today. The "trust" committed to this brother was the assignment for the work to which he had been apparently called of God. I do not think that she means "God." It s true, however, as you say, that the word "God" might fit into this sentence and with propriety, but I do not think that Sister White is here speaking about "God," but about "good," and that this is not a misprint.
