I find that Ellen White made the journey on Friday, February 4, to Tramelan. She spoke there on Sabbath and Sunday and returned on Monday to Basel. This is the year 1887. It could not have been the year 1886, for she was sick in bed in Basel for about a week running through February 4, 1886. It couldn't have been 1885 for she was not in Europe. So I have changed the date in the Review to February 4, 1887. This works out logically, appearing in the Review of 1888. It probably was a Friday night meeting, for the 4th was on Friday. (Arthur L.
