Your question relates to the statement in "Life Sketches" that during the winter month of 1891 and 1892 Mrs. White met with local churches, etc., in the Sonoma-Napa area. This is on page 259. Our older editions on "Life Sketches" read the same. It is a typographical error. It should be 1881 and 1882, and the chapter as a whole bears this out, for all the references to her experience at that time were 1881 and 1882, and the following chapter begins with April, 1882. It has been corrected in later printings. Take a look at the later printing, if you have a copy, and see if it does not read 1881 and 1882. All late printings read that way. (Arthur L. White)
