We have your letter in which you refer to having read somewhere about a dream of Sister White when she saw a group of persons "making daisy chains," etc. We in this office do not know of any record of such a dream by Sister White in either the published or the unpublished writings. I am at a loss to know where you may have read such a story.
There is a story about a group of women making daisy chains that has been used in bulletins by various departments of our work. This was not put out as something from Sister White. The idea is, the ladies in some missionary society were making daisy chains while people are falling over a cliff into eternity without being prepared to meet death. The idea is that people are occupied with nonessentials while people are dying unwarned and unprepared to meet the Lord.
