SDA do not have a creed. From the first, we have taken our position on the Word of God. As time has gone on, there has been a broadening concept of the teachings of the Word on some points. How glad we may be for the Spirit of Prophecy, which at times sparks study of the Word and at other times guards us from error in the conclusions which we may reach. (Arthur L. White)
